Mr. Halpin enlisted in the 16th Battalion and obtained his commission in 1917. He is now Secretary of the 16th Battalion Ex-Officers' Association. He is a member of the Anzac Club and his recreations in earlier days included rugby, cricket and rowing, and today is greatly interested in fishing, tennis and golf.5 |
