Abraham Oliver was born in 1870. The last child in the family and married Margaret Ellen Giblett, daughter of William and Margaret (Hackett). They had seven children and when Margaret died, Abraham married her sister
Carolyn and they had six children. Abraham died 28 September 1928, his obituary in the Northam Advertiser (29 Sept. 1928) reads as follows: "Mr Oliver Bonser of Byfirld Street Northam died under somewhat tragic circumstances at home early on Thursday morning. For some considerable time past Mr. Bonser has not enjoyed the best of health and during the course of the last few weeks his condition became worse. On Wednesday last he was well enough to attend the Northam Show, but returned early and about 4am., on Thursday had a seizure and died before medical assistance could arrive. The late Oliver Bonser was born in Irishtown 1870 and spent the major portion of his life on his property at Jennacubbine. He removed to the Dowerin district where, however, fortune did not smile on him . Of recent years he has resided in Northam where he was engaged in doing occasional contracting. He was married to Margaret Giblett and they had 3 sons and 3 daughters. Following his wife' s death he married her sister Caroline Giblett who survived him . In all Mr Bonser leaves 11 children to mourn him. The funeral was held yesterday with Fr.O'Donnell officiating at St. Josephs in Northam & RC. portion of Northam cemetery. Chief Mourners: Widow, sons, daughters, Mrs. Oliver Bonser (daughter-in-law), Mr. Carter (son-in-law), Mr. J. Bonser (brother), Mrs. W. Bonser (sister-in-law)."
