Elizabeth was born 1868. Elizabeth presumably spent her childhood helping with the stock and the farm. She is mentioned with Emma in Terry's Survey as shepherding sheep in the Wongan Hills area. Elizabeth married James Wilkins, brother to Thomas. They had 4 sons and 1 daughter. James died in 1895 and Elizabeth married John Albert Powell. They had 6 sons. She died in 1918. Her obituary in the Northam Advertiser (23 Jan. 1918) reads as follows:
"Deep regret was expressed throughout the district on Monday when it was known the Mrs Elizabeth Powell wife of John F. Powell of Jennapullin had died at the Northam Hospital on Sunday evening after a painful illness that had extended over 14 months.
The late Mrs. Powell was the youngest daughter of John Bonser one of the earliest settlers...she was 52. She was born in Northam and lived in the district all her life. When quite a young woman she married Mr. James Wilkins, farmer of Jennapullin; the issue being 4 sons all of whom have seen active service.
